Beautiful self catering cottage set in the grounds of a 17th century Kentish farmhouse, Tilia Cottage offers a high standard of comfort and facilities. The cottage and gardens are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty yet under 10 minutes from the historic city of Canterbury and 20 minutes from the Channel tunnel and cross channel ferries.
Tilia Cottage, in the small village of Bishopsbourne, lies on the Elham Valley Way, which forms part of the North Downs Way and is surrounded by beautiful parkland. The 11th century village church of St Mary’s is famed for its connection with the Rev Richard Hooker;
the village also has connections with literary greats Jocelyn Brook, Evelyn Waugh and Joseph Conrad.
